About Me/My Work

Having lived in Norfolk since birth, I have unfortunately been burdened with supporting Norwich City for the rest of my life. My dad took me to my first game at Carrow Road when I was six years old, and my love for football and all (most) things sport blossomed from there. My love for American sports and travel has also seen me visit the Land of the Free numerous times in the last few years. In doing so, I have adopted a second club to support, Orlando City, who I have since seen succumb to defeat all over the Atlantic coast of the United States.

My principal inspiration in journalism takes the form of motoring journalists and television personalities Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. Clarkson in particular has influenced my written voice, with his 'unique' commentary on an extensive range of topics including cars, Norfolk, death, and America. What's more, as a Norwich fan, I have grown up relying on articles from the Eastern Daily Press and the Pink Un to remain in the know about my team.

Having completed A-Levels in History, English Literature, German, and Physical Education, I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Warwick where I write for the university's student publication, The Boar.

Moving about Norfolk, however, can be fun. I am used to having people point as I go by. Most shout, "Hey, look, it's a Cosworth!" but in Norfolk they shout, "Hey, look, it's a car!"
